You’ve opened your GIA and you’re ready for the next step – adding money to it. With AJ Bell Dodl, it couldn’t be simpler. All you need is 5 minutes and you’ll be set up in just a few steps.
Step 1: Go to your GIA

Go to ‘Your accounts’
- Select your GIA from the list
Step 2: Add cash

Click on ’Add cash’
- Choose your preferred method:
- Bank Transfer
- Apple/Google Pay
- Debit card
- Enter amount you wish to add
- Review details and confirm
Step 3: Allocate your cash

Once cash has been added, buy your chosen investments by:
- Exploring investment options available
- Selecting the ones that suit you
And you’re done!
