Without further ado, for our first Dodl story we meet Lewis – a recent graduate navigating the complexities of his first career, who embarked on his journey with Dodl as a newbie investor. 😎

Meet Lewis!

How did you get into investing with Dodl?

“My name is Lewis, and I started using Dodl to get into an investing mindset near the start of my first career in cyber security after graduating from university 🎓. I'm a novice when it comes to investing, so I wanted a platform that is designed for beginners”.

What features of Dodl do you like most?

“The fact that Dodl is easy to use, with low fees and great customer service. I look forward to continuing to invest with Dodl in the coming years. I cannot recommend this platform enough!”

What advice would you give to other first-time investors?

“To look at the 'Learn' section within the Dodl app – if you're unsure about how Dodl and investing works, then this is a great starting point!”

Good advice there, Lewis! The Learn centre serves as a nifty little resource, providing insights, tutorials, and educational content tailored for beginners 🎓.

At Dodl, we celebrate each user's unique journey and stand committed to making investing low-cost, little effort and accessible for everyone! Lewis' story is just one among many, and we look forward to being part of the financial milestones of our community.

It's important to know

You have to be a UK resident for tax purposes to open an account with Dodl.

The past performance of investments isn't an indicator of their future performance and their value can go down as well as up. This means you could get back less than you originally invested.

Dodl doesn’t offer any advice so if you’re not sure about the risks involved with investing, you should speak to a suitable financial adviser.

How you're taxed depends on your circumstances, and tax rules can change in future.
