AJ Bell Dodl Funding prize draw 2024 terms and conditions

The prize 

  1. The grand prize is 1 x £1,000 voucher and 4 x £250 vouchers for runners up, to spend online via our partner, Blackhawk. Use of the vouchers are subject to Blackhawk’s terms and conditions. 
  2. There is no cash alternative and the prize is non-transferrable and non-exchangeable. 
  3. There will be five winners in total selected randomly from all qualifying entries.

How to enter 

  1. You must be 18 or over and a UK resident and citizen to take part in the prize draw.  
  2. To be entered into the prize draw you must have made a payment of a minimum value of £500 to your Dodl account between 25 January 2024 and by the last day of the competition, 11:59 pm 5 April 2024. 
  3. The payment can be by way of a one-off cash payment, a direct debit payment or a transfer of cash or investments to your Dodl account, provided that the value of the transfer is at least £500. All cash must be cleared in your Dodl account and, if it’s a transfer, it must have fully completed, by the last day of the competition to qualify for the draw.   
  4. All Dodl accounts are eligible for the offer and you will get one entry for each Dodl account where you make a payment of at least £500. Transfers from another AJ Bell platform won’t qualify for this offer. 
  5. This offer is open to new and existing customers.  

Claiming the prize 

  1. The winners will be selected on or after 22 April 2024. 
  2. The winners will be sent an email containing their voucher code. This will be sent to their email address registered with Dodl. It is the winner’s responsibility to check their email and to ensure that the email address registered with Dodl is correct.  
  3. The winner must still be a Dodl customer with a minimum of £100 in the Dodl account in respect of which the prize has been awarded at the time the email containing the voucher code is sent, otherwise the prize will not be awarded. 
  4. Dodl reserves the right to reclaim the value of the gift voucher if the value of the Dodl account is reduced by more than 75% by withdrawals or a transfer out within 12 months of the prize being claimed. 

General 

  1. By participating in the prize draw, all claimants are deemed to accept these terms and conditions and Blackhawk’s terms and conditions.
  2. Dodl accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault or human error of any kind. 
  3. Dodl reserves the right to change, suspend or cancel this prize draw and/or these terms without prior notice and at our sole discretion. 
  4. Dodl will not be held liable if any unforeseen event means that we are unable to fulfil the prize. In this event, no compensation will be made. 
  5. Employees of Dodl, its affiliated companies, their advertising agencies, and immediate family members of any such employees are not eligible for this competition. 
  6. By participating in this prize draw, you agree that the promoter may use your name to announce the winner of this prize draw on social media. You also agree to participate in any reasonable publicity required by the promoter. More details on how we may process your personal information can be found in the Dodl privacy policy.  
  7. The prize draw is governed by English law and entrants to the competition submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts. 
  8. The Promoter of this prize draw is AJ Bell Management Limited and is referred to in these terms and conditions as “Dodl”. The Promoter’s principal place of business is at 4 Exchange Quay, Salford Quays, Manchester M5 3EE. The Promoter may exclude from participation anyone believed to be taking unfair advantage of the prize draw.
